They are having a bit of trouble taking the bit and bridle for the quest from Ismark, I had to convince the party with a bit of gold and Ismark offering them weapons and food for their journey. Currently they made it through Death House losing two party members, and met in a tavern to meet their two new party members and Ismark. Now since the first campaign fell apart, several months have passed and I've found a new group to run through Curse of Strahd. Eventually Ireena and Ismark ended up staying with the Baron in Vallaki while they went off to tackle the Wizard of Wines. Although I found it quite awkward several times playing two NPC's talking to one another. Ismark became a huge asset to the party and helped them with multiple encounters on their way to Vallaki. On that play through I had both Irenna and Ismark accompany the party to Vallaki since Ismark insisted not living his sister alone and it made sense.
The 1st time I DM'ed it the party made it to the Wizard of Wines, unfortunately the group fell apart there as one players college schedule changed and the other got a girl friend. So I have DM'ed and am currently DMing Curse of Strahd again.
